The Warren Burnette Branch Library invites garden enthusiasts and wannabe enthusiasts back for our 2025 growing season to help us plant and tend to the raised garden beds behind the library. No experience is needed.
The garden club will meet on the following Wednesdays, weather permitting:
April 23, 2:00 pm – Garden Bed Cleanup & Direct Seed Sowing
May 21, 9:30 am – Planting Day
June 18, 9:30 am – Weeding & Maintenance
July 16, 9:30 am – Weeding & Maintenance
August 20, 9:30 am – Weeding & Maintenance
The Burnette Garden club welcomes members of all ages, however, we do suggest children be at least 5 years old to participate. We also recommend bringing a pair of gloves, a water bottle, and a hat or sunglasses.
Registration is requested; please register online here or call 586-353-0579. Garden club meets outside behind the library at the garden beds.
