The Lake St. Clair Nature Center will be at the Burnette Branch Library on Tuesday, April 29, 6:00-7:30 pm to talk about urban wildlife species that can be found in the most urban of areas, even in metro Detroit.
Large vacant lots, small pollinator gardens, city parks all make suitable habitat for wildlife. Animals have slowly been adapting to human impacts and changing landscapes for decades, finding new sources of food, shelter, and water – all while inhabiting the same space as humans. Join us to discover how to safely interact with them as well be environmental stewards on your own property.
Registration is requested; please register online here or call 586-353-0579. This presentation will be held in the Burnette Library’s Community Meeting Room.
The Warren Burnette Branch Library is located at 23345 Van Dyke Ave (between 9 Mile and Stephens). For more information, call (586) 353-0579.
