If your home was built prior to 1978, it may contain lead-based paint. Lead-based paint that is deteriorating-peeling, chipping, cracking, etc. can pose serious health concerns, especially for children under 6, and pregnant women. Fortunately, the City of Warren’s Community Development Office can help qualified residents make necessary repairs to protect their families with the Lead Hazard Control Program for Single Family Housing. If you’ve noticed any wear and tear to painted surfaces in your home, reach out to us for information on this free grant
