Water suppliers must also notify customers if the materials are unknown. You are receiving this notification because your: Drinking Water Service Line Material is UNKNOWN and may contain lead. WHAT DO I DO NEXT? The City of Warren is working toward identifying service line materials throughout the water supply. The City of Warren is continuing ongoing efforts to identify water service line materials for homes throughout the city.
To meet a mandate from the State of Michigan, the City is working with residents to inventory water service lines citywide. We ask residents to visit cityofwarren.orgwaterservicelineprogram for more information and to complete a brief online survey. This information will help the City better determine whether a home’s water service line may need to be addressed.
While we encourage all residents to participate, it is especially important for homes that may have received a postcard indicating their water service line material is currently unknown.
Identifying your water service line material is a simple process and can easily be reported online. A short video explaining the steps is available here
