Communications Department
The City of Warren Communications Department is a multi-faceted department providing an impressive array of services to the citizens of Warren. The department specializes in the following disciplines:
TV Warren generates award-winning programming for Warren’s Government and Community Channels (Comcast channels 5 & 12, Wide Open West (WOW) channels 10 & 18 and AT&T channel 99). TV Warren broadcasts City Council meetings, Zoning Board of Appeal meetings, Planning Commission meetings, the annual State of the City Address, and also produces a variety of community-based programs that inform and entertain a diverse audience.
The Warren Communications Department manages the content for the City of Warren’s website; the main source of information about city services, departments, programs and initiatives. The department also oversees the content for MIWarren.org; a website that connects you to all of the exciting events and activities taking place in Warren.
The experienced design and publications team produces a variety of flyers and brochures, as well as the quarterly Warren Today Activity Guide and annual city calendar. The department also provides marketing and branding support, and creates custom logos and graphic designs for city programs and services.
The office uses a multitude of social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to promote city events and rapidly disseminate information to the public. You are encouraged to follow and like us on any of our social media accounts.
In between regularly scheduled programming, TV Warren broadcasts a Community Bulletin Board; full page slates detailing upcoming events, programs and activities.
The Communications Department manages the auditorium at the Warren Community Center.
