EMBRACING INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY AND DIVERSITY

Today is International Women’s Day and pictured here with me is Rebeka Islam (APIA Vote-MI) and Shima Begum city of Warren Cultural Commissioner. These two women from Bangladesh reached out to me a few weeks ago about International Mother Language Day and I presented them with a proclamation memorializing International Mother Language Day on February 21, 2022 (please see the pictures attached). I am proud to shed light on behalf of the city of Warren to this worthy cause from UNESCO. I am proud of the growing diversity we have in Warren. We respect and welcome all cultures/languages in Warren.
