This is to inform you that the water and sewer billings MAILED TO CUSTOMERS on September 15, 2022, erroneously were duplicates of the previous month’s bill.
If you pay the amounts on this billing and the amount is MORE THAN THE ACTUAL BILLING the additional amount paid will be carried as credit against the October billing.
If the amount is LESS THAN THE ACTUAL BILLING there will be no penalty for the underpayment and the balance will carry forward to the October billing.
You will get the correct amount to pay by accessing the City website at –
If you utilize the Point & Pay payment system the correct amount will be reflected online.
If you do not have Internet access you can call customer service at 586-759-9200 to get the correct amount to pay.
THIS ONLY IMPACTS THOSE CUSTOMERS THAT RECEIVE THEIR BILLING BY U.S. MAIL. ALL BILLS SENT ELECTRONICALLY ARE CORRECT.
