MAYOR FOUTS HONORING 100-YEAR-OLD MONTFORD POINT MARINE ON WED., MAY 10 AT 2 PM IN MAYOR’S OFFICE
Mayor Fouts is honoring Lee Newby, a 100-year-old member of the greatest generation. Lee is a former Montford Point Marine and celebrated his 100th birthday on April 28, 2023. He was one of the 26 individuals honored by Mayor Fouts on April 28 and has a tree planted in his honor at the Warren Community Center. On Wednesday, May 10 at 2 PM Mayor Fouts will be honoring Lee Newby with a special medal commemorating his service to our country and his 100 years of meaningful life! The event will take place in the Mayor’s Office at Warren City Hall.
