Snow Emergency for the City of Warren, effective 7:00 PM tonight, February 15, 2025. To allow snowplows to clear the roads safely and efficiently, all vehicles must be removed from city streets by 7:00 PM tonight.
On Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents’ Day, City Offices and Libraries will be closed. Trash pickup will be on schedule.

Warren, MI (Nov. 22, 2023) – Warren Mayor Lori Stone is extending seasonal compost/leaf
pickup by two weeks this year. Compost season now runs from April 1 to December 15.
The time leaves fall varies each year depending on the weather. The extension gives residents
more time to finish fall cleanup projects.
All yard waste (grass clippings, leaves, garden/flower bed debris, and small brush) must be in
the blue 95-gallon compost cart with brown lid, or 30-gallon biodegradable brown paper bags.
Compost is picked up on scheduled collection days.
Compost is accepted at the Warren Recycling Center, 25801 Flanders Ave., year-round.
