OUTAGES IN NW SECTION OF CITY DUE TO STORM

We have some major outages mainly in the North West corner of Warren due to high straight-line winds, and hail which created overloaded transformers near the Warren Community Center.

Several transformers exploded causing fires in the poles resulting in power outages in several neighborhoods and the Warren Community Center including the Miller Library.

The Miller Library in the Community Center will be closed until 2 PM Friday. The Community Center is on emergency generator.

Residents can expect sporadic outages all across the city.

I will try to follow and advise as is needed. I will also be in contact with DTE.

Note: A huge tree fell on a house in the area!
