POWER OUTAGES, POLICE/CERT ACTIVATED

At 8:45 AM a major power outage occurred in NE Warren due to the very strong winds. We have several downed power lines and police are patrolling various intersections due to traffic lights out. We have deployed the CERT / Citizen Emergency Response Team to assist police at intersections. A power line fell on a car in that area! Situation is very fluid with new problems occurring. The area includes 11 & Groesbeck, and 12 & 13 Schoenherr area. Police will have stepped up patrols but still need help from CERT. Recommend that you avoid that area if you can!
