The Arthur Miller Branch of the Warren Public Library is happy to announce the start of a new literacy program for the youngest of readers. Following the Library of Michigan’s “Ready to Read” program, Raising Readers will focus on the concepts of Talk, Sing, Read, Write, and Play.
Each month the Miller Library will offer a take-home kit with a board book, finger puppet, egg shaker, scarf, and various songs, rhymes, and a simple craft all focused on a different theme. The theme for the Raising Readers kits for February is Colors.
