Red Run Drain Invasive Species Treatment Notification – Treatment Date August 9th
Starting on Wednesday, August 9th 2023, an invasive plant treatment along the Red Run Drain and surrounding areas. The target species for this round of spraying will be Japanese Knotweed. All target plants will be foliar sprayed with ClearCast (Imazamox), AquaNeat (Glyphosate), and a Cygnet Plus surfactant. A blue dye (PLM Blue) will be added to our tank mix to mark the treated plants. Bright yellow signs will also be placed just outside of the treatment area boundaries to notify the public of any usage restrictions.
