The Warren Fire Department Training Division Live Fire

The Warren Fire Department Training Division will be conducting a controlled Live Fire Search & Rescue Training in the North Parking Lot at Halmich Park (3001 E 13 Mile Rd). Live fire training allows firefighters to be more efficient and effective in fire suppression. This training is only one small part of the critical training that our department provides to ensure capabilities to provide an all-hazard response.

The live fire training will be conducted on the following dates and times:

Monday October 6, 2025, from 7am-5pm

Wednesday October 8, 2025, from 7am-5pm

Thursday October 9, 2025, from 7am-5pm

Friday October 10, 2025, from 7am-5pm

Tuesday October 14, 2025, from 7am-5pm

Wednesday October 15, 2025, from 7am-5pm

During these trainings the North Parking Lot will be closed off to the public for the safety of the residents, as well as the firefighters conducting training. You may also notice lingering smoke in the area of Halmich Park.
