Warren Mayor Distributes Free Pet Rescue Door-Window Stickers After City Firefighters Rescue Pets

Warren, MI – After Warren firefighters rescued several pets during a building fire just before Christmas, Warren Mayor Jim Fouts is distributing free pet rescue door-window stickers that alerts firefighters that pets are in the home/building during a fire.

Fouts said now firefighters arriving at a burning building have no way of knowing if pets are in the building. “These stickers tell firefighters what kind of pet and the numbers of pets in the building,” said Fouts. “Then they can search and rescue.”
