Today, Monday, February 28 has been declared as Rare Disease Day 2022 in the City of Warren, Rare Diseases include Pitt Hopkins Syndrome.
Pitt Hopkins Syndrome is just 1 of nearly 7,000 diseases and conditions that are considered rare. Nearly 1 in 10 Americans have a rare disease or condition. Isabella Turkiela, a 9 year-old Warren resident has Pitt Hopkins Syndrome. We are committed to helping those with rare diseases with medical, social and support services. City Hall will be illuminated in blue, green and pink from dusk tonight, Monday, Feb. 28, 2022 until dawn on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
