Lead Hazard Control Program – Landlords
Many Warren homes contain lead hazards that put children at risk. The City of Warren provides grants for 90% of the repairs needed to ensure eligible rentals are lead-safe.
If your rental(s) meets all the requirements listed below, you may qualify for the City’s program.
Location: Properties to be repaired must be in the City of Warren (can be tenant-occupied or vacant).
Age of Home: The house must have been built before 1978 and have lead-based paint hazards.
Income: The property must be occupied by or made available to families with income at or below 80% of the area median income (limits below). Property owners must pledge to make these units available to households of low- to moderate-income for no fewer than the next 3 years.

Your property(ies) may also be eligible for additional free repairs for health and safety items based on a full-home assessment.
How to Apply: Complete the information below.
