Bid Process
VENDOR NOTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION
FOR THE CITY OF WARREN PURCHASING DIVISION
Dear Prospective Vendor:
POSTING OF WARREN BID/QUOTE/PROPOSAL SOLICITATIONS
Dear Prospective Vendor:
The City of Warren Purchasing Division is pleased to announce that the City utilizes the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) system to notify vendors of bid, quote, and proposal opportunities.
The City of Warren is a founding member of the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) Cooperative. The MITN Cooperative, along with fellow Michigan MITN cooperative members, consisting mainly of local governments, utilize the MITN system to post its solicitations.
The MITN system provides a way for local agencies across the state to notify vendors of bidding opportunities in an effective manner, while increasing efficiency and lowering costs for member agencies and taxpayers.
Bids and Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) can be found by registering on the MITN system. Bids that require an electronic bid submission from the vendor shall be submitted directly via the MITN system. Bids that require a hard copy bid submission from the vendor shall be submitted in hard copy form directly to the City of Warren Purchasing Division. Each solicitation’s method of submission is defined in the corresponding solicitation that is posted on the MITN system.
Vendors can also see bid tabulations and award information for bids, on the MITN system, when applicable.
If you are interested in viewing business opportunities or to see participating agencies of the MITN Cooperative, please visit the MITN system.
