UPDATE – EARTHQUAKE RELIEF DRIVE AT WARREN CITY HALL ONLY ACCEPTING MONETARY DONATIONS NOW

Due to the overwhelming response and material donations we have received we are now only accepting monetary donations.
You can mail/drop off your monetary donations to Warren City Hall at my office (Mayor’s Office, 1 City Square, Ste. 215, Warren, MI 48093) thru March 13, 2023. I encourage others to donate whatever they can, as this is the most devastating earthquake in nearly a century!

Checks can be made out to: Greek Orthodox Archdiocese
Memo: Earthquake Relief Fund
Cash donations are also accepted.

Families are left homeless in the cold to find ways to survive. Let us help them find relief! This involves tens of thousands of people killed in Turkey as well as several thousand in Syria. People are left without electricity, water, and heat. Many lives are upside down with no home, no possessions, and little memory of what was there before. They sleep outdoors in an unheated car at best. Imagine small children being dug out of rubble, as well as, old people and babies trapped outside in cold frigid weather without warm clothing and protection!
Updated flyer is attached.
Sincerely,
Mayor James R. Fouts
