December 2022 Citizen of the Month

Mike Saroli is a wonderful man who helps all the neighbors from the corner of the street and down 4 houses on both sides of the street. He maintains the boulevard island by keeping it cut, edged, and watered. Mike cuts his neighbors’ grass, weed wacks, and shovels snow. If Mike notices the shrubs or gutters need attending to, he takes care of them as well. He puts their trash bins out and returns them after the trash is picked up. Mike cuts and edges around the sidewalk at the ITC corridor, cleans the street especially around the sewers from the grass, etc., and maintains the sidewalk from debris. He always says: “I want people to think wow what a nice/pretty block” when they turn onto their street. Anything Mike sees that needs tending to he just does it, of course asking permission first.
