Snow Emergency for the City of Warren, effective 7:00 PM tonight, February 15, 2025. To allow snowplows to clear the roads safely and efficiently, all vehicles must be removed from city streets by 7:00 PM tonight.
On Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents’ Day, City Offices and Libraries will be closed. Trash pickup will be on schedule.
Deanna Burkette helps and looks out for her neighbors. She gives you help before you even ask for it. Deanna used to work in security so she’s always on the lookout to make sure the neighborhood is safe and will notify us if she notices anything, such as if someone’s garage is open. She also started a cycle of taking turns bringing the garbage cans in. If it weren’t for her, one of the neighbors wouldn’t have found her lost cat. Deanna pushes herself to help others even when she shouldn’t because of her circumstances and doesn’t complain. Deanna puts everyone first – she brings you things, shovels your snow, cares, and gives for everyone even though she is struggling herself.
