Home | Press Releases | Mayor Fouts Declaring Snow Emergency
Good afternoon,
At 1 pm today I have officially declared a snow emergency for the city of Warren. All vehicles should be off city streets by 10 PM tonight. Police will be out to ensure compliance with the Snow Emergency!
I have also issued an order to pre-treat all city streets prior to the storm commencing Saturday morning. DPW is on full stand-by as are the mechanics in the DPW garage.
We will be ready to take care of any additional snow or rain problems this weekend until all has subsided. The water department has been alerted for any type of flooding during this weekend period. Thus, standby water crews will also be available. Failure to remove your vehicle could result in a costly ticket. Please help the city of Warren by removing your car.
Also, please help your neighbors by reminding them of the snow emergency and offer help if they are unable to remove their vehicle. Thank You! *
*Trucks are all ready and prepared!
*Note: We have 7 new trucks in place and ready to plow!
*Nine drivers are on stand-by
