Warren, MI (March 26, 2024) – Warren Mayor Lori M. Stone has announced two new leadership appointments.
Mayor Stone has appointed Danuta (Donna) Dordeski as Waste Water Treatment Sanitary Engineer. Donna has worked for the city of Warren for nearly 30 years. Previous positons held include Drafting Specialist, Civil Engineer, Acting City Engineer, and Environmental Compliance Engineer. Donna demonstrates expertise in all aspects of professional civil engineering as it relates to design, development, maintenance, and construction of municipal projects. She is well versed in preparing annual budgets and reports, and planning for short and long-term municipal infrastructure improvement projects. Donna has a proven track record of collaborating with county and state agencies on projects involving state, federal and grant funding. Donna holds a State of Michigan Professional Engineer license, and is a certified EGLE Storm Water Construction Operator.
Mayor Stone has also appointed Russ Galorneau as Department of Public Works Associate Manager of Fleet Maintenance. Russ has been a heavy truck and equipment mechanic for over 30 years. His impressive skill set stems from years of experience in city transit, refuse collection fleets, and public school transportation. Russ has been managing the City of Warren Fleet Maintenance Department since 2020. He is a graduate of the Ohio Diesel Technical Institute in Cleveland Ohio. Russ is married with three children, and one grandchild.
