NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing has been scheduled and will be held by the City Council of the City of Warren in connection with the petitioner’s request for a SPECIAL LAND USE AND SITE PLAN approval for a hotel (Holiday Inn Express) for the following described property: Land in the City of Warren, Macomb County, described as: 11570 Eleven Mile – A part of the northeast 1/4 of Section 22, T. 1N, R.12E, City of Warren, Macomb County, Michigan, being more particularly described as: Commencing at the northeast corner of said Section 22; Thence along the east line of said Section 22, S01°55’00”W, 596.45 ft.; thence NB8°04’40”W, 60 ft. to the east right-of-way line of Hoover Road and the Point of Beginning; thence along said right-of-way, S01°55’00”W, 30 ft.; thence N88°37’30”W, 300 ft.; thence N01°54’57”E, 30 ft.; thence N88°37’30”W, 123.05 ft.; thence N01°55’50″E, 55 ft.; thence S88°04’10″W, 5 ft.; thence N01°55’50”E, 267.59 ft. to the south right-of-way of l-696 service drive; then along said right-of-way S88°06’02″E, 278.08ft.: thence S01°55’00″W, 136.15 ft.; thence N88°04’40”W, 70 ft.; thence S01°55’00”W, 180.29 ft ; thence S88°37’30″E,
220 ft. to the west right-of-way line of Hoover Road and the Point of Beginning.

The Public Hearing will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2019, in the City Council Chambers in the Warren Community Center Auditorium, located west of Mound Road between Chicago and Fourteen Mile Roads, Warren, Michigan. The City Council meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to provide the Petitioner with an opportunity to represent his interests and to give you an opportunity to voice your opinion or ask any questions concerning this request for a Special Land Use Permit. Any comments may be made in person at the hearing or in writing to the City Clerk or the City Council prior to the hearing.
