October 4 Benefit Concert Scheduled for Warren Flood Victims
A concert Saturday, October 4 will benefit Warren victims of the August 11 flooding. The concert will be called “Holding On” will begin at 7 p.m. at the Warren Community Center on Arden, south of 14 Mile Road off Mound Road. Admission is $15.
The evening begins with the Michigan premiere of Lifetime Film and Video Production’s short film, “The Ancient of Days” and features Lamon Records recording artist Sean Guerrero.
Nearly 40% OF Warren homes were damaged by the flooding. Southern Baptist Disaster Relief teams traveled to Michigan from across the nation and, along with an army of local volunteers, have been assisting with clean up, clean out and repair in hard-hit areas since the end of August.
