Warren Mayor Directs Immediate City Parks Clean-up

Full Press Release

Warren, MI – Warren Mayor Jim Fouts announces that the city clean–up of the city’s 26 parks will be completed by July 1 with work beginning immediately.

Fouts will hire a full-time parks clean-up coordinator within one week, and all grass cutting and preparation of playground areas will be a priority during June.

City blight buster crews are now working to improve the parks’ appearances. While the clean-ups are ongoing, contractors will be hired to repair playground equipment and restrooms.

“This is a high priority citywide project that must be addressed without any delay,” said Fouts. “My goal is to make our parks showplaces for city residents.”
