The Warren Police Department will hold its first open house Saturday, August 2 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Free gun safety locks and child identification will be available, and community organizations will provide information on crime prevention, senior scams and drug and alcohol awareness.
“Our goals with this open house are for residents to get a behind-the-scene look at our police operation and receive information to keep homes and neighborhoods safe,” said Warren Mayor Jim Fouts.
The open house will also feature a texting and driving simulator, a SWAT Team demonstration, inside look at police squad car and motorcycles and police station tours.
Free food, hot dogs, chips and water will be distributed, as long as supplies last.
