Dear Warren Resident:
“The City That Cares.” This is how I want the residents of Warren to feel about the services the city provides. Warren offers a wide variety of services to our residents ranging from issuing birth certificates and dog licenses to parks and recreation and library activities.
To make it easier for Warren residents to access more information and city services and to show we do care, the city’s web site has been re-designed. This new web site enables you to get information with two clicks. Residents can access any city department quickly. No delays or a number of confusing clicks. A special thanks goes to the City Communications Department, and Information Systems Manager, and their creative staff for developing this convenient web site. Not only will quick access to city departments be a feature of this web site, but soon a short video message about each department’s services will be available.
This new web site reflects my administration’s goal of bringing city government services closer to Warren residents. When I became mayor in November, 2007, I instructed city employees to be courteous and responsive to anyone who contacted city hall. So far, I am happy to report that city employees have reacted positively to my directive.
My philosophy is “We work for Warren taxpayers.”
If you have any questions, suggestions or comments, please do not hesitate to e-mail me at
(brief message please). You may also choose to contact a department directly; this is welcomed too. Please be sure to leave a valid daytime phone number, along with any other contact information, which might be helpful to us in returning your message. My door and my e-mail message screen are always open to you.
James R. Fouts
